San Diego Refugee Services

Quiclinics Medical Partners, a non-profit medical group was founded by one of the founding members of another 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit community organization known as Haitian Bridge Alliance. Haitian Bridge Alliance advocates for fair and humane immigration policies and provides migrants and immigrants with humanitarian, legal, and social services.

Quiclinics has spent the past 3 years establishing a medical office in the city of Lynwood, California, Los Angeles County. We are now ready to come back full circle to complete the work with the community that started it all in San Diego County. With every move, Quiclinics have always had the immigrant community in heart. We have taken on the fight to assist an often forgotten group of immigrants that primarily call California home. While Quiclinics is open and inviting to the refugee, immigrant community at large, we are particularly focused on TPS recipient nations members that reside in the San Diego County area.

Quiclinics is launching a multi-faceted program to not only re-educate, re-skill, and/or improve the current skillset of the refugee community in San Diego county while assisting them in becoming an even more contributing member of the American fiber, we are also bringing culturally-married mental and health care and services to the community directly.

QMP COVID-19 Program

What are coronaviruses?
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans.

What is Covid-19?
COVID-19 is a disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 that can trigger what doctors call a respiratory tract infection. It can affect your upper respiratory tract (sinuses, nose, and throat) or lower respiratory tract (windpipe and lungs). It spreads the same way other coronaviruses do, mainly through person-to-person contact.

Scientific Solutions and CDC Guidelines
In order to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic, CDC has mandated not only getting tested often in order to detect and catch the illness early enough to reduce the spread of the virus, CDC has also suggested wearing masks, frequently washing your hands and wearing protective gear, limiting social activities as much as possible.

In addition to this, the health organizations and CDC has approved a number of vaccines to combat the illness. There are 3 main vaccines that you will likely find at your local health providers offices, pharmacies and etc.

These vaccines are a step toward fighting the virus and returning to normalcy.
Moderna Vaccine, Pfizer Vaccine and Johnson and Johnson are the 3 main vaccines that you will likely be able to get in order to limit your exposure and subsequent respiratory issues attached to the Covid-19 virus.

Quiclinics is launching a multi-faceted covid program for our patients and communities at large. We not only aim to re-educate, assist the community in protecting themselves from the current pandemic.
